LIGHTspeed Tangent Support – 14.1 to 15.00mm SSA
These tangents are made of high tensile galvanised steel wire, designed to suspend and support short spans; maximum 80 metres, overhead dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) fibre optic cable at suspension points.
A moulded G.F. nylon, UV stabilised sheave is supplied in the loop of the fitting.
It is intended for direct attachment to pole top hardware such as suspension hooks, pigtail bolts, etc.
Application can be made at ground level and the fitting with the attached cable is lifted to the pole top position and applied to the pole hardware.
Alternatively, the cable can be supported at the pole top position and then secured with a suspension tie.
Line Angles: Suspension ties must not be used on line angles; greater then a 15° change in direction.
